If you’re an engaged couple on the hunt for a Sacramento wedding venue, stop what you’re doing rn! Lakeview Estates is IT! This venue SCREAMS timeless elegance, and I’m seriously obsessed with it. Check out a Sacramento wedding photographer’s guide to the venue below, with all the tips you need to know for planning your wedding here!
Lakeview Estates more than lives up to its name. It’s a gorgeous estate on 20+ acres of land, situated right on the Sacramento River. They have a private lake with drop-dead gorgeous views and a garden winery that’s straight out of a fairytale. It’s giving luxury in all the best ways.
The best part about Lakeview Estates? It’s not only gorgeous, it’s functional too. They really thought of everything here, and it shows!
The venue can be as hands-on (or as hands-off) as you want it to be. At Lakeview Estates, you can fully customize your wedding day to how you want it. They have all-inclusive decor packages and all-inclusive catering packages so you can take some of the stress out of wedding planning (because trust me, I know it’s a lot)!
A rainy wedding day can’t bring you down here, because the indoor options are just as great as the outdoor options. More on this later, but no matter where you hold your wedding here, it’s gonna be craaazy gorgeous.
If you don’t opt for one of the all-inclusive packages, they still include everything you need in the venue rental. This means exclusive use of the venue, chairs and tables, crew to set up and break down, getting-ready spaces, and even a one-hour rehearsal!
Now, I know this is what you’re really here for: to see all the ceremony sites at the venue! And I can’t blame you, trying to pick the perfect backdrop for your wedding can be super stressful. You’re in luck with this Sacramento wedding venue, though. They’re ALL 10/10!
Each space can hold a maximum of 300 people, so if you’re planning a huge celebration and want to party all night (hi, you’re my dream client), Lakeview Estates has you covered.
The Garden Gazebo is as beautiful as it sounds. If saying “I do” in a simple gazebo surrounded by greenery, jasmine vines, and palm trees sounds like a dream, this is your spot! It’s a blank canvas that lets you execute your vision exactly how you want it for your wedding ceremony, with natural beauty all around.
If a waterfront wedding ceremony is more your vibe, the Lakeview area is GORGEOUS. It’s a shaded awning positioned right in front of a glistening lake, and it’s giving elegance to the max. I absolutely love this area for a ceremony!
First of all, it’s called the Lawn of Love… How cute is that?! But seriously, it’s actually perfect for a peaceful and romantic wedding ceremony. It’s right in front of the Sacramento River, creating a stunning backdrop for the two of you! Even if you don’t choose this one as your actual ceremony site, chances are I’ll pull you to this area for portraits, because it’s just too pretty not to!
Last but not least, we have the Marquee, the tented area of the venue that creates a great place for a reception (or for a rainy ceremony). It has grand windows that let stunning natural light leak in, and it’s such a fantastic blank canvas for the elegant wedding of your dreams.
James and Christine’s small, intimate wedding is giving all the inspo. Their pink pastel color palette complemented the Sacramento lakefront venue beautifully, and the lighting could not have been more perfect. They had just 50 guests, mostly family, which made the day that much more special! Christine said it felt like a family reunion (BRB, crying) and that she was so excited for that!
Everything was so soft and sweet, and their day was truly full of bliss! With just their closest family and friends in attendance, the couple was really able to focus on the most important part of the day: their love!
The couple came to me and told me they loved my timeless, nostalgic feeling photos and wanted to capture exactly that: memories that they can look back on forever that feel the way their wedding day did. And if I do say so myself, we absolutely succeeded at that. These two made it SO easy. I mean, just look at the way they look at each other!!
Don’t worry, I have more where that came from! For more intimate wedding inspiration, this city hall wedding and this Joshua Tree wedding are must-sees. If you love the glowy, editorial, nostalgic vibes of my photos, you can click here to inquire with me. Big or small, I’ll be happy to capture your wedding day in a way that feels true to you.
Client love: “Grace did such an amazing job capturing our wedding day from start to finish. She was professional, easy to work with, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera—which is not easy on such an emotional day! Her photography style is so romantic and timeless, and every photo tells a story. She didn’t miss a thing—big moments, little details, and even the candid shots of our family and friends that mean so much to us. Looking back at our photos feels like reliving the entire day, and we’re so grateful to have these memories forever. I love scrolling through them. I’ve already recommended Grace to family and friends, and would 100% encourage anyone looking for someone to capture their special moments to book her! I assure you, you won’t regret it. 🤍 “
