Mount Tamalpais Engagement Session: Love Amidst the Clouds
In the world of photography, I have noticed that every moment is a memory that is just waiting to be captured. This was the case with Alyssa and Conner’s Mount Tamalpais Engagement Session.
Despite facing some unexpected challenges, their love prevailed and resulted in a beautiful collection of images that will forever tell the tale of their journey toward their wedding
Alyssa + Konner’s Mount Tamalpais Engagement Session
Originally, their engagement session was scheduled for a previous date. However, due to a minor setback, we needed to reschedule.
Something to keep in mind when you are scheduling your sessions, It is important to remember to be flexible. Shit happens! Sometimes the original date just doesn’t work out. Make sure you discuss date flexibility with your photographer at the time of booking.
As the rescheduled date arrived, so did the rain clouds.
The sky was overcast, and raindrops painted the landscape. However, we weren’t easily deterred by a little rain – especially since we had already changed the date once. Alyssa and Conner patiently waited for the weather to show some mercy.
Nature’s Being a BadASS: A Break in the Clouds
With a bit of patience, nature seemed to be in our favor.
The rain slowed down and eventually stopped completely. The break granted us the chance to use the clouds as a truly spectacular backdrop!
Love in Every Frame
Alyssa’s choice of a white, flowing dress looked perfect against the ethereal surroundings of Mount Tamalpais. The dress blew gently in the breeze, mirroring the clouds that surrounded them.
Conner’s attire, a deep forest green shirt, and khaki pants, blended amazingly with the golden dry hills and the lush greenery of the trees.
These engagement photos turned out to be the beginning of Alyssa and Conner’s journey as a married couple. Their wedding is set for October 2023. They promise to be a celebration of their love.
Although my associate will be capturing their actual wedding photos, I can’t wait to be able to experience them as I am editing them!
