Capturing Love During a Mount Tamalpais Couples Session
Mount Tamalpais, or Mount Tam as the locals call it, is one of my all-time favorite spots for photography – especially a Mount Tamalpais Couples Session.
Why, you ask?
Well, for starters, it offers breathtaking views without the need for a super hard hike. And if there is one thing you should know about me, it is that cardio and I are pretty much enemies.
The easier and more convenient routes are a bit more my style. So, anything that combines a quick walk with stunning vistas instantly becomes a favorite in my book.
Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Sydney and Niko at Mount Tam. What made this session stand out from the rest was the genuine and relaxed vibe these two brought to the table.
They were so comfortable in each other’s presence, and their authentic interactions made it so much fun to capture.

Service might be a bit spotty, so it’s a good idea to coordinate with your photographer in advance to choose a reliable meeting spot. There are plenty of places where you can pull your car over for stunning views, so don’t worry about missing out on great shots.
TWO | Footwear Matters
It’s all about cute but comfortable shoes. Mount Tam’s terrain isn’t exactly flat; there are often slight slopes, and the last thing we want is for you to twist an ankle.

On a good day, the clouds and sunset at Mount Tamalpais Couples Sessions are nothing short of spectacular. I’ve been here countless times, and it rarely disappoints. The views are simply magical.
